PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate which can be easily manufactured, and which properly matches the street scape of a city and the appearance of a residence. SOLUTION: In this gate 1, a panel 4 is mounted on a square frame composed of rails 2 and stiles 3; a panel fixing fitting 5 is attached on the inner-surface side of the rail 2 or the stile 3; a fixing part 7 to be fixed to the inner surface of the stile/rail, and a panel mounting part 9 are provided in the fitting 5; and a flange part 10 flush with the surface of the stile/rail, and a protrusion 11 perpendicularly protruding from the surface of the flange 10 are formed on the panel mounting part 9. The panel 4 abuts on the surface of the stile/rail and that of the flange part 10, and the protrusion 11 passes through a through-hole 15 which is formed in the panel 4, so that the panel 4 can be fixed in the state of being sandwiched between the flange part 10 and a fixing member 18 on the leading-end side of the protrusion 11.
