PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester-based artificial hair keeping ordinary polyester fiber properties such as heat resistance, strength and elongation, excellent in set property, touch and transparency, and having high flame reterdance. SOLUTION: The flame retardant polyester-based artificial hair excellent in spinning stability, keeping fiber properties such as heat resistance, strength and elongation of common polyester and excellent in set property, touch and transparency is obtained by melt-spinning a composition containing a bromine-containing flame-retardant, an antimony compound and a dispersant in polyester.
