PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid concentration controlling method provided with a monitoring function for a densitometer. SOLUTION: In the liquid concentration controlling method where the concentration of a liquid in a tank is controlled by replenishing the same with water and a chemical based on concentration measured value by a densitometer, the concentration deviation as a difference between the concentration measured value and the predetermined concentration objective value is obtained, the quantity of the water or chemical to be required for the replenishment is obtained based on the concentration deviation, the quantity to be required for the replenishment is dividedly replenished for a plurality of times, and further, after the respective divided replenishment, the determination for the abnormality of the densitometer is performed.
