PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a molded product of a zeolite A which is excellent in ion-exchange capacity, molecular sieving property, adsorption property, etc., by adding an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide to allophane and subjecting it to a hydrothermal treatment. SOLUTION: Allophane is subjected to uniaxial pressing to mold an allophane molded product, and sodium hydroxide is added to the allophane molded product, which is subsequently matured at room temperature for a prescribed time and then subjected to a hydrothermal treatment at 80°C to obtain the molded product of the zeolite A.
