PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe umbrella allowing a person putting up or carrying an umbrella to notify own presence to others in a dark place. SOLUTION: This safety umbrella is provided with light emitting bodies at its tip parts. A ferrule part of the umbrella can be further provided with a light emitting body. A luminous body emitting a light in darkness after storing the light or a reflecting body reflecting by receiving another light can be adopted as the constitution of the light emitting body.
