PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced, modified polyphenylene ether maintaining the mechanical strength, high dimensional stability and heat resistance of conventional reinforced modified polyphenylene ethers and also excellent in practical characteristics such as durability, adhesive resistance, etc. SOLUTION: This polyphenylene ether-based reinforced resin composition having the polyphenylene ether and an inorganic filler is provided by using the polyphenylene ether having≥0.8 hydroxy group concentration per 100 units of its monomer to improve the bonding property of the inorganic filler with the resin.
