PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device capable of precisely emitting a laser beam on liquid droplets containing functional materials discharged from a discharge port, thereby effectively performing drying and burning. SOLUTION: A laser irradiation device 38 for drying and a laser irradiation device 39 for burning are arranged side by side on a carriage provided at the lower face of a liquid droplet discharge head and mounted with a nozzle plate 31. The nozzle plate 31 is provided with a plurality of nozzles N for discharging liquid droplets Fb on a board 2. The laser irradiation device 38 for drying is provided with a plurality of first semiconductor lasers Lb for drying the liquid droplets Fb impacted on the board 2. The laser irradiation device 39 for burning is provided with a plurality of second semiconductor lasers Lc for burning the liquid droplets Fb impacted on the board 2 and dried by the first semiconductor lasers Lb.
