PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phenol resin molding material that easily removes and finishes a burr attached to a copper surface after molding while maintaining mechanical strength of a molding in comparison with a conventional phenol resin molding material. SOLUTION: The phenol resin molding material comprises a phenol resin and a fatty acid aluminum, preferably a resol type phenol resin as a part of the phenol resin and has preferably 0.1-10 parts wt. aluminum fatty acid content based on 100 parts wt. of the phenol resin.
