PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring ladle with which the momentary stopping of an operation caused by growth of matte-sticking is not necessary and the matte-sticking removing work with a lance can drastically be reduced. SOLUTION: The measuring ladle is provided with; a molten metal storing part 11 positioned at the upstream side from a supporting point 21 for tilting the measuring ladle 10 and providing the storable depth to a prescribed quantity of the molten metal as the portion for pouring the molten metal; and a molten metal pouring part 13 having a discharging hole 13a for pouring the molten metal stored in the molten metal storing part 11 into a mold 3 and formed so that this depth becomes shallow toward the discharging hole 13a. Wherein, the width of the molten metal storing part 13 is widely formed so that jumped-up molten metal at the pouring time of the molten metal does not reach the edge part of the molten metal storing part 11 and further, the development of the matte-sticking to the edge part is prevented by arranging the dirt-stop member 15 is arranged at the position shifted to the molten metal discharging hole 13a side.
