An integrated mosaic structure, particularly designed to be laid on surfaces such as walls or the like, and a method for making same. The structure comprises a plurality of tiles (4) of predetermined shapes and a lattice support (2) whose back face (6) is designed to be turned toward the laying surface. The support (2) comprises a plurality of receptacles (3) in which the tiles are stably accommodated. The receptacles (3) have shapes complementary to those of the tiles (4) and are substantially adjacent so as to define a joint. The front face (5) of the support (2) is substantially parallel to the top surfaces (7) of the tiles (4). Thanks to this configuration, the mosaic structure has pre-filled joints (10), whereby later laying of the overall decoration becomes much faster and simpler. |
