<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength inkjet recording paper which has a cockling phenomenon during printing well under control to a maximum extent, even when a wastepaper-recycled pulp is used. <P>SOLUTION: In the pulp manufacturing process, the wastepaper-recycled pulp is adjusted to a desired degree of water filtration by preferably generating a cavitation with the help of a liquid jet in a wastepaper pulp suspension, then bringing a bubble generated by the cavitation into contact with the pulp, and making use of the impact force of the bubble during its collapse.
