摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound magnet which can have a necessary coersive force and magnetic flux density while reducing a manufacturing cost and can effectively reduce an eddy current generated in the magnet, a motor having the compound magnet, and also a method for manufacturing the compound magnet. <P>SOLUTION: A compound magnet 1 is made of an outer magnet 12 made of a material having relatively small magnetic flux density and relatively high coersive force performance, and an inner magnet 11 made of a material having relatively large magnetic flux and relatively low coersive force performance. A plurality of notches may be formed even at the side surface of the compound magnet 1 on the side of a stator.
