PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool with a dust collection function that can improve dust collection efficiency. SOLUTION: The power tool with a dust collection function (a random orbital sander) is provided with a motor 2, and a fan 4B for dust collection mounted on an output shaft 3 of the motor 2, and a fan cover (a cover member) 5 covering the fan 4B for dust collection. The face of the fan cover 5 being in contact with an air trunk 10 formed on the inner peripheral part of the fan cover 5 is composed of multiple faces of three or more faces (an upper face 5a, a lower face 5b, and an inner peripheral face 5c). At least one of the faces (the inner peripheral face 5c) is formed into an inclined face having a prescribed angle to the center of a rotary shaft of the fan 4B for dust collection (or/and a stepped part is formed on at least one of the faces). Consequently, a large-diameter part 10a, in which the diameter from the center of the rotary shaft of the fan 4B for dust collection is larger than those of the other parts, is formed on a part of the air trunk 10.
