<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize power saving function, using inexpensive configurations. <P>SOLUTION: When an initialization program is inputted from an NAND-type flash memory (104, 106), the initialization processing of the respective parts of an image processor, including an MCU, is carried out based on an initialization program (108), and a read signal is outputted to the NAND-type flash memory, and an instruction program is transferred from the NAND-type flash memory to an SDRAM (110). Then, whether a control program is being stored in the SDRAM is decided, based on the instruction program (114); and when data are not stored in the predetermined address of the SDRAM, the read signal is outputted to the NAND-type flash memory, and the control program or the control data are transferred from the NAND-type flash memory to the SDRAM (116).
