PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a still image pickup device to be speedily moved to the image pickup place of an object at the time of picking up a still image. SOLUTION: The still image pickup device includes: an XY table 26 having the image pickup device 25 for dividing and picking up the still image; an X axis shaft 35 passing through the XY table 26 to move the XY table 26 in an X axis direction; a Y axis shaft 45 passing through the XY table 26 off the X axis shaft 35 in a Y axis direction orthogonal to the X axis direction to move the XY table 26 in the Y axis direction; a friction reducing member connecting the XY table 26 and the first and Y axis shaft 45 to smoothly move the XY table 26; and an image processing part for applying a prescribed image processing to the still image divided and picked up by the image pickup device 25.
