CONTROL FRAME, SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ACTUATOR, AND COMMAND RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide for protocol extension in a telecommunications frame used for remote control in home automation systems while retaining the organization and the content of the data of an old frame used in earlier generation remote control transmitters/receivers further while adding additional information able to be exploited by later-generation receivers. SOLUTION: The frame comprises a first part comprising first data and a first control field and a second part comprising second data and a second control field. A relay bit commences the second part of data, the relay bit having a predetermined value. Such a frame can be used to ensure cross-compatibility in a system comprising older generation and newer generation command transmitters and older generation and newer generation command receivers.
