PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive excellent in workability and the tile holding ability when sticking a tile on the working face which extends to a perpendicular direction such as a wall or the like. SOLUTION: The method for sticking and fixing a tile on a base material comprises: a process which applies an adhesive with a roller on a base material; and a process which sticks a tile to the resultant coating film, wherein the adhesive has the CASSON yield value of at least 200 Pa as measured with a cone plate type viscometer at 23°C, the coating film surface is formed with the pattern consisting of a plurality of irregular salients at the time of the coating, and the plurality of irregular salients do not lose the form until the adhesive hardens.
