PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble metal-containing paint composition which is free from problems that a conventional metallic coating paint and a metallic coating method embrace, and allows the metal to exhibit the inherent feeling and color. SOLUTION: The water-soluble metal-containing paint composition comprises 100 wt% of a metallic paint powder and 30 wt% of an acrylate binder, wherein the metallic paint powder comprises 85-96 wt% of a metallic powder, 2-8 wt% of a glass powder, and 2-7 wt% of a melamine cyanurate powder.
