The invention relates to a method for producing a protector (1) as protection for a body part, such as for example a human elbow or shoulder, in addition to a protector (1) that is integrated into protective clothing, in particular motorcycle clothing, for example a back, elbow, shoulder, hip or knee protector, said protector incorporating impact-absorbing plastic.
