The invention relates to a numerical simulation method for the automatic determination of a geometry optimised for flow losses, whereby the flow for the chamber is calculated iteratively from a flow mechanical equation system and virtual force inputs related to the chamber and, after each iteration, forward and reverse flows are calculated, a modification of the force inputs is carried out in which reverse flows are subjected to counter-forces and possible force inputs in forward flows are reduced. The next iteration is calculated using the modified force inputs if a criterion for interruption is not reached and, from the last iteration, a contiguous region between inlet and outlet with no force inputs is extracted as optimum geometry. |
