A device for blocking a parked vehicle against being driven away in unauthorized manner comprises: detection means for detecting the arrival of a vehicle; first blocking means which are displaced by the detection means from an inactive first position to an active second position; and release means which re-place the first blocking into the first position; which first blocking means comprise a first freely-rotating roller against which a driven wheel of the vehicle moves when the vehicle drives away while the blocking means are in the second position; a second freely-rotating roller which is placed upstream relative to the first freely-rotating roller; such that when the vehicle is driven away in forward direction while the first roller is in its second position, the at least one driven wheel drives onto the first and the second freely-rotating roller and thus loses its grip on the road surface.
