The method involves using the two-dimensional image of a static scene obtained from a two-dimensional image sensor. DFD method is used for converting the intensity distribution of the two-dimensional image into one objective light for forming and estimating differently focused images of the scene. PSF (point spread function) method is then used for determining the individual pixels of the static scene for reconstruction. SFD method is used for reconstructing the static scene in three dimensions using the pixel parameters determined using the PSF method. An independent claim is included for use method of the three-dimensional reconstruction of static scenes.
