<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device and a coating method to obtain a large diameter endless belt at low cost, a method of manufacturing the endless belt, the endless belt obtained by the method and an electrophotographic apparatus provided with the resultant endless belt. <P>SOLUTION: A coating film 20 is formed on the surface of a belt base body 10 by extruding a coating film forming resin solution from a slit 16 of a coater 14 while supporting/rotating a joint 10A and a belt base body 10 by a supporting roll 12 to form the coating film 20 on the surface of the belt base body 10. The belt base body 10 is made around to form the coating film 20 on the whole peripheral surface of the belt base body 10. In such a case, the starting position of coating is adjusted to the joint 10A or the vicinity of the same. The endless belt is manufactured by this way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
