<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow coping with various events, even if one does not know the meaning of the event issued by a network device. <P>SOLUTION: An event notification device notifies a URL for accessing an HTML file, corresponding to the event by an event receiving device as an event parameter, and provides an HTML file showing event occurrence cause, according to the requirements from a Web browser or an HTML-file prompting processing corresponding to the event.
