<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image so as not to make image quality different even if the number of fixing times is different. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus forms a test pattern only on one side of a recording paper, outputs the recording paper after the test pattern is fixed once, then forms the test pattern only on one side of the recording paper and outputs the recording paper after the test pattern is fixed once.
