<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily and quickly obtain time required to expand an encoded file in a system in an information processing system in which a plurality of computers are interconnected by a network. <P>SOLUTION: A partial code creating means 100 in a computer A creates a partial code from an entire code of an encoded file and inputs the partial code in a queue (1) 111. An expanding means 101 in a computer B receives the partial code from the queue (1), an expander expands the partial code, and an expansion time measuring means 102 measures the expansion time and inputs a measurement result in a queue (2) 112.
