CONFIGURATION METHOD OF SUPERFRAME FOR TRANSMITTING ISOCHRONOUS DATA AND ASYNCHRONOUS DATA IN RESIDENTIAL ETHERNET (R) SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration method of a superframe for transmitting isochronous data and asynchronous data in a residential Ethernet system.

SOLUTION: The configuration method of a superframe of a predetermined size for transmitting isochronous data and asynchronous data in a residential Ethernet system includes: a first step of receiving the isochronous data and the asynchronous data which are transmitted via the residential Ethernet system; a second step of configuring the received isochronous data as each of isochronous frames 302-1 to 302-3; a third step of configuring a cycle start frame 301 for notifying start of the superframe, and a fourth step of including the asynchronous data while using the residual regions excluding the regions of isochronous frames 304-1 to 304-2 from a predetermined size as the asynchronous region.
