<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail supporting device capable of simply, efficiently and stably mounting a handrail. <P>SOLUTION: Connecting pieces 3a and 3b are formed in one end section of a pair of arcuate clamp arms 2a and 2b along the outer circumference of the handrail A, the connecting pieces 3a and 3b are connected with a pin 4 to form a clamp 1 enabling a pair of clamp arms 2a and 2b to open and close. A pair of clamp arms 2a and 2b are pushed toward the closing direction by a leaf spring 20. An engaging piece 8 is formed in the outside end section of each of the connecting pieces 3a and 3b. An insertion hole 14 of the connecting pieces 3a and 3b is formed in one end face of a bracket 10 mounted on a wall surface, and an engaging step section 16 is provided to the inner circumference of the insertion hole 14. The handrail A is held between a pair of clamp arms 2a and 2b of the clamp 1, a pair of connecting pieces 3a and 3b are inserted in the insertion hole 14 to engage the engaging piece 8 with the engaging step section 16, and the clamp 1 and the bracket 10 are held in a connecting state by the engagement to stabilize the mounting of the handrail A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
