摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply selection system that selects power supplies that takes into consideration the generation amount of an environmental impact load substance, by predicting the amount of the environmental impact load substance generated, and to provide a power supply selection method. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply system 1 comprises back power supplies 3, 4 and 5 that can be selected as supply sources of power; a CO<SB>2</SB>emission minimum condition calculation means 11 that calculates the condition, under which the emission of CO<SB>2</SB>becomes minimum; an input means 13 that inputs information on the need of a user; an indication means 14 that indicates the information by an image; and a control means 16 that controls the system. The CO<SB>2</SB>emission minimum condition calculation means 11 is constituted so as to calculate the condition, under which the emission of the environmental impact load substance becomes minimum, on the basis of at least one information among: power basic-unit information that is necessary for calculating the condition that makes the emission of the environmental impact load substance minimum, from a database stored in a readable data recording means and information on an environmental impact load related to power transmission loss and power transmission tower; information on the stability of power transmission influenced by the weather; and the newest information of a transaction price that varies from time to time and the past history information of the transaction price. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
