<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a rush current, immediately after the start of charging, by using a simple circuit composed of inexpensive electronic components. <P>SOLUTION: There is provide a backup circuit which comprises a variable resistor R100 which is connected to a power supply source, and whose resistance value is increased, according to the increase in the amount of current that passes; a diode D100 which is connected to the variable resistor at its one end, and permits passage of single directional power from the variable resistor; and a battery C200 which is connected to the other end of the diode, and accumulates electric charge. The backup circuit feeds power to the other circuit from the latter stage of the diode, during the receipt of the supply of power from the power supply source, charges the battery, and directly feeds power to the other circuit from the battery, when the supply of the power is shut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
