<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, reducing poor mounting caused by interference of a spring with a high voltage tower when mounting it. <P>SOLUTION: This ignition coil for the internal combustion engine has at least a primary coil and a secondary coil disposed in it, and also has an ion core to magnetically combine the primary coil with the secondary coil, and they are housed in its insulating case. Thereby, a high voltage current generated in the secondary coil is transmitted to an ignition plug through the spring equipped with an ignition noise reducing means disposed in an insulating cylinder. Since a tilt preventing rib to prevent the ignition coil from having backlash when inserting the spring in the insulating cylinder, is provided, poor mounting caused by interference of the spring with the high voltage tower is reduced when mounting the ignition coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
