<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction clutch capable of being installed as a substitute for a conventional torque converter. <P>SOLUTION: A wet type multi-plate clutch 1 is a device for transmitting torque from an engine of a vehicle to a transmission and is provided with a clutch connection part 6; a piston 20; a first oil passage 11; a second oil passage 12; and an operation oil feeding part 43. The clutch connection part 6 includes a plurality of plate members 17, 18. The piston 20 is arranged adjacent to the clutch connection part 6. The first oil passage 11 has one end at the piston 20 side. The second oil passage 12 has one end at the clutch connection part 6 side. The operation oil feeding part 43 switches the clutch engaged state in which the operation oil is fed from the outside to the first oil passage 11 and the operation oil of the second oil passage 12 is discharged to the outside and the clutch disengaged state in which the operation oil of the first oil passage 11 is discharged to the outside and the operation oil is fed from the outside to the second oil passage 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
