<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch built-in type pulley unit 1 capable of preventing flowing out of a grease from a clutch 6. <P>SOLUTION: A ball bearing 23 as a sealing means is arranged at an opposite arm part side of the clutch 6 and in the ball bearing 23, seal members 23d are provided at both left and right sides of a ball 23c. In the seal member 23d, contact seals are provided on at least opposite clutch side, preferably at both sides. The contact seal is formed using an elastic member such as a rubber or an elastomer and an outer peripheral end is fixed by press-fitting to an outer ring 23a. An inner peripheral lip part is slide-contacted with an inner ring 23b to seal a clearance between the outer ring 23a and the inner ring 23b. Thereby, since the grease of the clutch can be prevented from passing beyond the ball bearing 23 and flowing out to the opposite clutch side and suitable lubrication of the clutch 6 can be ensured, abnormal abrasion of the clutch 6 can be avoided.
