PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical scanner capable of attaining highly accurate adjustment in SKEW correction. SOLUTION: A screw part 70 is moved forward and backward in a direction D perpendicular to a sidewall 26C by inserting a jig into a groove part 90 and rotating an adjustment member 68, a member (eccentric cam 56) which comes into contact with the other end side of a cylindrical mirror (optical member) 44M is moved and the other end side of the cylindrical mirror 44M is displaced. In this case, since a projected part 86 of a plate spring 84 elastically enters into a recessed part 88 of a gear 72 of the adjustment member 68, the projected part 86 enters into the recessed part 88 to lock the gear 72 whenever the recessed part 88 comes to a position facing the projected part 86. Consequently, the adjustment member 68 is locked (latched) by every fixed amount (fixed angle) of rotation and an amount of rotation of the adjustment member is adjusted with sufficient accuracy.
