PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission shift switch capable of high operability and space saving. SOLUTION: This shift switch 1, connected to a transmission and performing switching between a plurality of positions of the transmission, includes a switch body 4 which is structured so as to travel in two directions and switches the positions of the transmission one by one according to a traveling direction so as to move up or down and a neutral position return mechanism 5 for returning the switch body 4 to its neutral position for one operation.
