PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for immobilizing carbon dioxide, by which the carbon dioxide can also be reduced in a global environmental scale. SOLUTION: This method for immobilizing carbon dioxide on an artificial moss with the artificial moss is characterized in that the artificial moss is a moss plant cultured from a young moss seedling grown in a culture solution. The young moss seedling is a young moss seedling obtained by breeding regeneration blastemas on the periphery of the gametophytes of the moss in a culturing solution. The method for immobilizing carbon dioxide comprises disposing a plant factory environment for culturing the young seedlings of artificial mosses, and then immobilizing the carbon dioxide on the artificial mosses contained in the plant factory environment.
