<p>A storage device where information is recorded by means of an inductive write head has a servo part where servo information is recorded on a recording track, a data part where data is written, and a write training part where training write of pseudo-data is carried out. A write control section writes pseudo-data in the write training area at low temperature and then writes data in the data area. By thus writing pseudo-data in the write training area, a write core is heated and projected toward the medium surface because of its thermal expansion to enhance the writability, and then data is written in the data part. A write training part is also provided before the data part on the track in a system area of the storage medium. When system information is written in the data part of the system area at low temperature, pseudo-data is written in the write training part.</p> |
