FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has rod having longitudinal axis, proximal part and distal part. The proximal and distal parts have proximal and distal threads, respectively. The proximal and distal threads are usable for making threaded connection of the first and the second material portions separated with interval, respectively. When rotating the rod in a direction about the longitudinal axis, the first and the second material portions are displaced relative to each other and compression is provided between them.
