Method and system for sharing personal data

The method involves sending personal attribute demand request from a service provider contacted by a user to a user terminal (10). A proxy server (30) of an Internet access provider (6) intercepts the request and automatically redirects the request to a selection module (44). An attribute provider selected by the module is interrogated in response to the redirected request for obtaining personal attributes required by the service provider. The service provider personalize, the service rendered to the user, according to the obtained attributes that are transmitted to the service provider. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for automatically sharing personal attributes of a user between several online electronic service providers (2) a computer program adapted to be implemented in a sharing module implemented in a server of an Internet access provider.
