FIELD: electrical engineering; electrochemical cells for electromobiles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed electrochemical cell has zinc and graphite plates disposed on insulating strip placed in tank filled with sulfuric acid solution and potassium bichromate solution; upper part of tank accommodates pipe communicating through hole in lever fork with reservoir whose bottom is disposed above tank bottom; reservoir is filled with sulfuric acid and has pipe communicating through lever fork hose with drain reservoir whose bottom is below tank bottom; there is also reservoir filled with highly concentrated potassium bichromate whose bottom is above tank bottom; this reservoir communicates with tank through pipeline provided with cock; plates are installed on strip supports between projections, partitions, and braces joined with partitions. ^ EFFECT: enhanced capacity and power output. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg
