The invention relates to a method for producing light-conductive LED bodies in at least two production steps, a first partial LED body comprising at least one light-emitting chip and at least two electrodes that are electrically connected to the chip, and a second partial LED body surrounding the first at least in sections. The first inner partial LED body is provided with at least one notch-type or channel-type recess or at least one shaft in a region that is surrounded by the second, outer partial LED body engaging in the rear thereof. Said recess or shaft is located beneath a plane which extends through the centre of gravity of the chip and is oriented normally to the centre line of the first partial LED body. The invention provides a method for producing light-conductive LED bodies, wherein the partial LED bodies are securely interconnected.
