FIELD: engineering of electromagnetic devices for rectilinear movement. ^ SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic device includes two mutually moving structural elements, made with possible mutual telescopic movement. Circular coils are fastened to at least a portion of axial length of one of aforementioned mutually moving structural elements. Also provided is device for generation of a set of magnetic streams, polarity of which periodically changes along at least a part of second one of mutually moving structural elements. Device for generation of circular electric currents in circular coils contains means for changing frequency, phase or amplitude of electric current in coils to cause interaction of aforementioned currents and magnetic streams and generate a force, acting to cause movement relatively to one another of mutually moving structural elements, each one of which has open and closed ends and which are mated with forming of a chamber between them. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction and increased transverse rigidity. ^ 16 cl, 4 dwg |
