FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly canal sealings or joints. ^ SUBSTANCE: canal lining includes anti-heaving bed laid on prepared base and provided with upper water-tight covering. Lining made of concrete or reinforced concrete panels, as well as of cast-in-place concrete or reinforced concrete with control joints is laid on the water-tight covering. Anti-heaving bed has different thickness and is multilayered along canal perimeter. Heat-conductive layers are laid in upper part of the anti-heaving bed. Minimal thickness of anti-heaving bed zone, namely that located below lower shore line, and maximal thickness of anti-heaving bed zone, namely located above upper shore line, are selected from mathematical expressions. ^ EFFECT: increased operational reliability and service life, prevention of water losses from canal, elimination of agricultural land swamping, salinity and flooding and, as a result, improved irrigation and ecological environment. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg, 6 ex |
