The spacer has a cylindrical body (2) with brackets (3) projecting towards outside. Each bracket has a hole (4) for the passage of a screw to fix the bracket to a rigid part (5) of a door shell. The body has a radial flange (6) projecting towards the interior of the body. The flange serving as a support for the periphery (8) of a loudspeaker (7) has holes (9) for the passage of the screw to fix the periphery of the loudspeaker to the flange. An independent claim is also included for an assembly comprising a door of a motor vehicle inside which a loudspeaker is fixed by a spacer.
