FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle control systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices to control brake force depending on different road conditions. Proposed method to control wheel brakes according to adhesion of wheels by brake antilock system with adaptive algorithm includes pressure rise in brake cylinder at set rate, provision of antilocking cycle, setting and maintaining said pressure in brake cylinder, pressure rise, repetition of said operations starting from antilocking cycle, braking, determination of sequence of selection of wheels used as setting ones, successive exclusion of said wheels from setting ones according to value os accumulated critical slip. At beginning of braking, maximum value of set length of distance and minimum value of pressure drop in brake cylinder after antilocking cycle are set for setting wheel. Tolerable range of number of premature failures of adhesion per set number of antilocking cycles are set and checked. In case of nonconformity, length of set distance and level of pressure drop are changed in turn discretely by set value. Relation of premature failures of adhesion and number of antilocking cycles is brought to required value. Wheels under checking are braked under specified conditions by changing discretely individually only minimum preset level of pressure drop antilocking cycle. Number of setting wheels in head part of multiple-axle vehicle which define adhesion level on braking distance is limited and tolerable wear limits of wheels are set. ^ EFFECT: increased level of adhesion of wheels with contact surface, efficiency of braking, reduced wear of wheels. ^ 2 dwg |
