A suction head of a vacuum cleaner is provided to easily remove dust gathered at a cornered surface by improving the sucking force at the lateral side of the suction head, and to save energy in driving the vacuum cleaner. A suction head(100) of a vacuum cleaner comprises a casing formed with a receiving space inside and a suction port(113) on the bottom surface to be communicated with the receiving space; a brush(115) rotatively combined with the casing at the inner side of the suction port; a centrifugal fan(170) formed with plural fan blades radially on the end of the brush to be interlocked with the brush and to be communicated with the receiving space at the exhaust side; and a lateral suction unit(160) opened downward at one side of the suction port separately from the suction port and to guide a suction path toward the center of the centrifugal fan.
