A drive provided with a striker pin positioned opposite the primer cap is installed on the bottom of the gas generator. The missile gas generator of the stage separation mechanism has a body, pyrocomposition and a primer cap. The body is provided with a cover and a bottom shoulder forming a toroidal cavity communicating with the missile chamber of stage separation by consumption openings each made in the form of a Laval nozzle. The pyrocomposition is placed in the toroidal cavity.
