PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient load control device which can forcibly turn off an illumination load. SOLUTION: A commercial power supply AC and an illumination load L are connected to a master device A, and a microcomputer 1 in the master device A controls a relay drive 2 to turn on the illumination load L only for a predetermined holding time in accordance with the presence or absence of a human which is detected by the heat ray sensor S of a slave device B. The holding time is counted by a timer which the microcomputer 1 has. A timer clearing switch SW4 which clears the count of the timer is connected to the microcomputer 1. Therefore, when the illumination load L is turned on, the illumination load L can be turned off forcibly by the timer clearing switch SW4 . Moreover, since the illumination load L is turned on only for the holding time if the slave device B detects a human body, convenience for use is increased. |
