<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for manufacturing a metallic bottle- shaped can, a method that enables a compressive load resistance at the shoulder to be increased, that makes a dent at the shoulder less noticeable, and that excels in the sealable ability, adhesiveness and easy-to-open factor of the cap. <P>SOLUTION: The metallic bottle-shaped can is obtained by reducing the diameter of the upper part of a bottom-attached cylindrical body made of metal to form a bottle-shaped body 1d having a shoulder 5 and a cap part 2, and then by forming screwthreads 3 and a bulged part 4 at the cap part 2 of the bottle-shaped body 1d. The method for manufacturing this bottle-shaped can is characterized in that, after the screwthreads 3 and the bulged part 4 are formed at the cap part 2, the shoulder 5 and the bulged part 4 are re-formed simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
