Fastening device for fastening a mounting section for a solar module or solar collector to a support section, especially a trapezoid or sandwich shaped section. The fastening device (1) is connected to the mounting section so that it has a defined amount of play. Thus the movable seating of the support section serves to compensate any thermal expansion.
